FAQ
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
The glory behind While Away Photography is that I photograph families when we are in the same place at the same time! If you're going somewhere specific and you'd like me to capture those memories, reach out and we can discuss that further! All sessions include travel unless otherwise indicated!
We want to include our dog into our photos, is that okay?
YES! Fido is part of the family so if he's with you, let's make sure he gets in the family photos!
How long does it take to receive the photos after our session and how will those be delivered?
You can expect your gallery within 10-14 business days. They will be delivered via email through a service called Pixieset where you'll be able to download, choose favorites, share, and purchase right from your gallery!
Do you require a deposit? How is that collected?
I require a $50 booking deposit via Venmo or PayPal. This will be applied towards your total balance, which will be due the day of your session. In the event of bad weather, if a session cannot be rescheduled, your deposit will be refunded! If you need to cancel your session, please let me know at least 7 days prior to your session and your deposit will be refunded. No deposit refund will be issued for sessions which are canceled less than 7 days prior to your session date.
